FAQS

About CDAIO Sydney

What is CDAIO Sydney?

CDAIO Sydney, the Chief Data and AI Officer Sydney conference, is a two-day event for senior leaders responsible for shaping enterprise data, data analytics and artificial intelligence strategy. The 2027 event examines how organisations can build trusted and accessible data foundations, strengthen data governance, develop an AI data strategy, use analytics with AI and turn data insights into measurable business value. It also explores autonomous AI, agentic workflows, models of data ownership and the operating models required to deliver change at enterprise scale. Through executive keynotes, strategic panels and real-world case studies, the event connects leadership priorities with practical approaches to data governance strategies, AI economics, transformation and responsible scaling across the enterprise.

Who should attend CDAIO Sydney?

CDAIO Sydney is designed for C-level executives and senior data leaders who own or influence data, AI, data analytics, digital and transformation agendas. This includes Chief Data and AI Officers (CDAIOs), Chief Data Officers, Chief Information Officers, Chief Analytics Officers and Heads or Directors of Data, AI, Analytics, Data Governance, Architecture, Digital and Transformation.

It is particularly relevant to leaders from finance, government, healthcare, retail, energy, technology and other data-intensive sectors who are responsible for improving data quality and ownership, developing data governance strategies, establishing an AI data strategy, accelerating analytics with AI, modernising operating models or demonstrating business value from data and AI. The event also provides a cross-industry forum for public- and private-sector leaders to compare approaches and build peer connections.

Why should I attend CDAIO Sydney?

The program combines strategic insights with practical case studies on data analytics strategy, AI data analytics, analytics with AI, AI economics, operating models, value realisation, data ownership and organisational change. You can compare approaches with senior peers, learn from leaders confronting similar implementation challenges, identify frameworks that can be adapted within your organisation and build relationships across Australia’s data and AI community.

For professionals searching for data analytics Sydney events, the conference offers a focused view of the future in data analytics, the data future and how organisations can create value from AI at enterprise scale. The co-located format also gives registered attendees access to complementary perspectives on data architecture and enterprise AI on the days those events are running.

How is CDAIO Sydney different from other data and AI conferences?

CDAIO Sydney is different from other data and AI conferences because it brings enterprise data leadership, AI strategy, data governance, data analytics, economics, operating models and organisational change into one senior-level program.

Its co-location with Data & AI Architecture Sydney and Enterprise AI Sydney also gives teams access to complementary strategic, architectural and implementation perspectives across the two-day event.
